Bush, Pakistan and Nukes.

Ok, as we all know Pakistan has recently declared a state of emergancy, it is a country which is falling apart because of corruption.

Now, Pakistan is a country with a nuclear bomb. And the leader of that country, General Musharraf is a dictator.

Why isn't Bush going after him, to liberate the people of pakistan!?

People need to start realizing the double standards of America. Support a dictator with a nuke, but go after others who aren't their puppets.

Wake the fuck up.

have you heard of the guy who has been in charge for the last decade?

or are you implying that you personally have solved the issue of the attempt on her life and suggesting that all the extremists in the country are totally normal, safe and peaceful and the real issue is the age old problem of corruption?

Did I say that? Is your argument so weak that you have to put words in my mouth? Musharraf and Bhutto are so corrupt that they have dragged Pakistan down to the gutter, one of the reasons is being friendly with the terrorists. Bhutto said the attempted attack on her was set up by Musharraf.

You answered your own question

But what is far more troubling, and you hinted at it, is that they have nuke capabilities AND are a haven for terrorists.

Pakistan says just enough to keep Western leaders relatively happy ("we are fighting the terrorists here") but the reality is much different. And what is the US and it's, ahem, coalition, going to do? Invade Pakistan? Never happen.

Your right. India conducted it's first tests in 1974 and was considered a nuclear power a short time later. Pakistan was in 1998.
