Won't let you transfer a domain within 60 days if you've changed any part of the registrant contact details.

Never used godaddy.. I am happy with Enom. -
yeah i'm trying to move my godaddy domains to eNom. I guess if you're spending crap on television commercials making it difficult for people to transfer domains away is required.Comment

I typically like GD, but now I'm getting a little annoyed. I have a "premium account" or whatever they like to call it, basically I get domains really cheap. Problem is I have to email my account rep and he has to register the domain for me in order to get the discount, he works Mon.-Fri. and also has sick/vacation days. Days off!? Anyway, a lot of times I'm left waiting for him, like right now.
Have been thinking about getting my own reseller account instead. Will give me more freedom to order domains at discount prices whenever I want.Vacares - Web Hosting, Domains, O365, Security & More - Paxum and BTC Accepted
Windows VPS now available
Great for TSS, Nifty Stats, remote work, virtual assistants, etc.

how much do they charge per domain registration?Originally posted by StallionNever used godaddy.. I am happy with Enom.Comment

I agree, godaddy suck
I'm trying to transfer domains from godaddy to enom at the moment. Godaddy are making me jump through hoops to do it and now after following their instructions they tell me that I have to wait 60 days.
I could wait 60 days, but it's pissing me off that I have to after following their bullshit policy.
I just sent them a wanky little email quoting icann policy etc, I'm sure they will ignore me.
Oh, I should also say after talking to a godaddy rep multiple times about this over the phone, the last guy ended up being quite abusive and told me he didn't want to help me anymore.Comment

I have almost 700 domains registered at GoDaddy, and I am happy with them!
Don't all or most places restrict transfers within 60 days?

Godaddy isn't worth using for anything more than a personal site.Comment

400 Domains with them and never had a problem....Comment

Most places have a 60 day restriction, you can't have registered it less than 60 days ago or transferred it within 60 days.
Outside of that, ICANN say registrars can not restrict transfers based on time.
I'm mainly interested in the fact that godaddy are so rude and unhelpful. They are making it really hard to make a choice.

At less tha $7/domain, you aren't going to get good support. Godaddy customers are lucky that they're speaking to Americans, and not Indians.Comment

GoDaddy claim to be the best, if you're going to make such claims you need to provide more than cheap domains.
I would much prefer to speak to an educated, polite Indian than an ignorant, unhelpful American.
Either way, godaddy are making it very differcult to do what I am wanting. It seems others are having the same problem.
