Tracking and nailing content sharing paysite members

    Got this in the mail:

"If you own a paysite with exclusive content then I can help you . More
of your content is being downloaded from torrent and file sharing sites
    than you could ever imagine.

We have a solution to tell you exactly whcih of your members have
downloaded and then shared your exclusive content.

We can provide you with the username, IP address and more info on the
member that shared your contnet on rapidshare, Megaupload and all of the
    torrent sites.

You can then terminate the members responsible and consider legal
    action against them.

Word will spread that you are able to track downloads and the culprits
    will look for easier targets.

If you are interested in our solution please contact me at -removed-"

I have a simpler solution: post a BIG banner in your members section that content is watermarked with the downloader's ip and that you will without exception take legal action against them if they share it...

Are you trying to be racist or are you just a redneck?

its technically possible by adding the members info into the movies header, i'm surprised nobody else thought about it

would that kill torrents if sponsors can get the members info from the shared content?
