are you kidding? its the greatest thing ever. no insurance. no car payment. no gas expenses. no duis. its amazing. i havent had a car that i actually used for a few years. in cali i drove my car about 2 times a month. so, when i moved to florida i got rid of it. best thing i ever did. just kick down some cash to people who pick you up. its far less expensive and you'll get more exercise.
i jog everywhere i need to go. its awesome yo.

Oh the life of an American. In scotland it is far to cold to walk everywhere and the public transport os too few and far between. I mean we wait for half an hour on a bus or train to the capital. It sucks big time. And most of the time it is wet and cold.
I havent even got my provisional yet so Im used to getting around in the cold weather but if my hubby lost his liscense he would die. He is sooo lazy he doesnt know what the word walk means.Comment

Bro ... you should see what i drove into work today ..lol .. I had a Range Rover and an Acura TL-S type .. the Rover just came off lease and i had an old car sitting at my moms that was my dad's ... it's a 1990 Buick Regal ..it has 184k on it but it's fly ...digital dash ..the works ..lol I've been to lazy to go get a new car and my wife uses the Acura so i put it on the road .. $600 a year .. I've been using it on days my wife needs the car for about 4 months now .. i travel about 25 miles a day and i kinda like it ...reminds me of high school .. I lost my motivation to go get some fancy car and payout that nose just to get o work ..

I can't live without a car. I don't like to walk in public, and would rather die than walk in public, especially in the suburbs, it's ok if you live in a city like NY or Amsterdam, but you don't want to walk in the suburbs, unless you like to get mistaken as a hooker or a poor bum.
I wouldn't even walk across the street, I drive at all times. That doesn't mean I'm lazy or inactive, I workout in the privacy of my own home, but I just would never walk in PUBLIC, unless it's in either 1. A big CITY or 2. A beach town, where it's acceptable.
It's just weird to walk in the suburbs, plus I only wear heels, I don't wear comfortable shoes so I don't walk!
Usually when I see people walking in the suburbs I automatically think they are weird or something is wrong with them, unless they are jogging, that's different.
Most of the time people I see that walk are poor people who are walking to the bus stop, no one walks in Orange County. I just think it's embarassing to walk, you get hassled a lot. I would NEVER walk on a big street like that here, it's just weird. But in some areas it's ok, but not just on big streets with tons of cars whizzing buy.
