Has anyone here ever done business with someone and they thought the deal was really great? So you run around and tell others that you know this great... we'll use a designer for an example. So you refer this new designer to your friends, and your friends are happy because they're getting good quality work. Well, a year passes and things start to fuck up without you knowing about it. This designer you're referring is ripping people off, completing assignments late, copying other projects... turning into a complete fuck up.

Your friends come to you bitching about your bad referral. You feel terrible and NEVER recommend that designer again.
