Anyone else watching America's Psychic Challenge?

I just saw it on tv tonight and its fucking great. Some of the psychics are spot on.
In one of the challenges the psychics take turns guessing the man who had a criminal record out of a group. One of the psychics wrote down that the man was in prison for 4 years and 4 months and his brother had a drug problem. And it turned out she was totally right.

Another psychic, before meeting the men, said the man had a tattoo of an S on his arm done in a snake, and it was true. Pretty cool

luv this show. The first challenge they have to find a guy in the car . and in the last challenge the guy is amazing, he gets the whole story behind the crime scene

Its a challenge, like American Idol, not a reality show. They put 16 professional psychics against each other and the winner gets $100,000.

Yeah its cold. They have to guess the celebrity on the other side of the wall. They bring them to a crime scene and they have to say what happened there with no background info, and some of them really nail it.

they have time limits to when they can complete the challenge. It doesnt run all day.

I dont believe in most psychics. I think John Edwards and Sylvia Brown are full of shit just trying to make money.
But some of these people on the show are really accurate.

Im open to the idea, but not through some edited tv show.
I want labs, scientific tests, control groups, and so forth.

so.... people "on this show" are really accurate and for some reason no one can be "really accurate" anywhere else, in any other place at any other time?

this show must be magical. at first i was just thinking "wow, this show might be some crappy, fake, sensational scheme designed for tv viewers, to get ratings and advertising dollars"

now i am thinking "wow... this show is the most amazing display of psychic abilities ever. those same abilities that have never been duplicated in any controlled scientific study, anywhere. its truly amazing"

i wonder.... will these amazingly talented and gifted psychics that never participate in controlled studies for some reason, use their talents for good... or for evil?

i'm concerned.

All it takes is 15 minutes and James Randi will give any psychic ONE MILLION DOLLARS fuck the $100,000 reality tv show.

Oh....wait. James Randi requires the demonstrations be done under the watch of SCIENTISTS. Which means they really have to be able to do what it is the claim to be able to do.

Wonder why no psychics have taken him up on the challenge?

Viewer Fascination = Ratings = They keep their job

Bunch of people saying "this is nonsense" = Lack of Ratings = They lose their job.

uhm yeah. why? because i'm not a 6 yr old mesmerized by a tv show. i've actually been on this planet for a while and seen this same shit, same claims etc with ZERO proof many times. when i see a girl dressed like a hooker, walking like a hooker, talking like a hooker and walking the street at 3am where hookers do... i judge her. pretty normal stuff.

as Boy Alley said, they want to compete on a reality show for small cash when people like Randi will pay them 1,000,000.00 cash to prove they possess any skills?

telling 1/2 the truth so you make wrong assumptions about whats happening isn't the same as telling a lie.

dude... seriously... its a tv show, not a physics experiment.

the truth about psychics is that in controlled studies, they have extremely dismal records. horrible.
