                It's okay guys no need for tears. Politics is by very nature cyclic. Sooner or hopefully later, Liberals and Democrats will be back in charge, and Republicans and Conservatives will be crying and whining.

                I guess I can kind of understand the whimpering though, you lefties sure are taking a pounding these days.

                    I'm not sure. If it wouldn't have been for Ross Perot, the democrats wouldn't have elected a president since the 1970s. More than likely you have seen a transformation. Elections in the near future will be contested amongst candidates who are more conservative vs candidates who are less conservative. A good example is watching hillary positioning herself as a conservative.

                    I would be almost impossible for a true "liberal" to get elected in the United States. Another good example was listening to John Kerry during the election. He had to be a war hero and promise tax cuts, more military spending. All of which are traditional conservative values.
