Yep, I use it. But I only use it for business.
I started a group. Mainly catered to the niche sites I run. So it's an easy promotion source. Sample clips, pix, bulletins where there are updates, etc. Plus gives me a lot of feedback on what to work into shoots, new ideas etc.
I also recruit all my amateur models from there. Easy peasy.
Most of my RL friends are not on there, so everything about my profile and contacts or friends list is business relationships.

However, if you look at profile's long enough you start to wonder who'd be left between their profile pix, and images on some of the profile pages themselves.
It has some good uses as a whole. You have to be careful though because in their T.O.S. they have some restrictions on business use. Although the irony of how it was started, and for bands, and such in it's self makes you chuckle. Because it was a networking sites for bands to do business, or get some promotion.
