How can you copy DVD's with a dvd burner?

Say something like finding nemo.. My kid who is 3 tends to scratch the DVD's I went to the store 4 times already to rebuy finding nemo.. I figure just make a single backup.

I have a DVD Burner in my laptop.. What software would I need? To rip? burn "iso" reburn? And if it says it's copyright...

Yo 'google' "dvd shrink", then download it and get some burning software like Nero or similar, will burn everything under the sun with that combo ).

You can get it ploughing a paddock, you can get it makin some porn sites, matter of fact I've got it now.

For a hard earned thrist, you need a big cold beer.

DOnt think any commercial burner software will overcome the copyright stuff, they arent allowed to legally. Thats why u need something like dvd shrink, at least for stuff protected.

for you mac users, it's easy as fuck. just install handbrake, put in a dvd and rip the fucker. and if you want to put videos on your video ipod, download handbrake lite, and it's even easier to use... already optimized for the video ipod.
we'll miss you our friend. RIP

DVD shrink is cool indeed. HOWEVER, some DVD"s are protected, and won't 'shrink' and be copied. You need ANYDVD for that..
