Obama may very well be a fantastic candidate for President...and may very well make an excellent President. I have heard him speak as well and was quite impressed.
Sadly, he has two things going against him...and both are ridiculous reasons...but you can't fight the truth.
The U.S. is still too backward to accept a black man as President.
The U.S. is far too judgemental to accept a man with a name like Barak Obama as president.
It is sad that we cannot focus on a man for who he is, instead of what he is.
