Google Adwords: do I need to wait for them to review my keywords?

it will take 1-2 days for them to activate the keywords i think...

it surely isnt instant, they definitely need to do an review

I've e-mailed them when changing keywords and had them approved in 24 hours

I made an account 3 days ago and was getting traffic after an hour

it takes 2-3 days for me while approving my keywords

it always seemed like it was realtime to me... if your keywords trigger a flag then yes i know they hold them for a bit... shrug

If your keywords are flagged (adult or some other reason), then it'll need a manual review. Otherwise they'll go live right away.
