this is a stupid debate.. when someone says america it is common sense for someone to know what you are referring to, same with US,USA etc. The world has become lazy and doesn't like to say things to there full capacity like it was first meant. Therefore America is a country, it just isn't the full correct name of the country but people do refer to it as such therefore it's only smart ass' who debate that. DO you call yourself a United States American or an American....
