The 20 points behind thing is meaningless at this point in the game.
Here's a poll from Dec 2003, which is two months later in the cycle than where we are right now.

Sharpton - 5%
Kerry - 4%
Edwards - 2%
The eventual nominee was polling behind Al Sharpton for crying out loud.
I also don't like all these remarks the media is making about "he's not doing anything to close the gap" and "he's got to go after Hillary"
Fuck the media, they want to cover a mudslinging match, it's good for ratings.
You can't be the candidate of "hope" and a "new kind of politics" and then run dirty negative ads about Hillary.
Obama doesn't have to do anything but keep delivering his message, the voters will do the rest
