I am guessing you don't want to tell us what the keywords are, but how many results come up if we were to do a search? And where are you now?

Tough question to answer - on some phrases we like - we are around 10-20. On others - much worse than that.

We have a pretty good alexa rank, and PR 4 (for what that's worth fuck knows)

I don't want to over-step any bounds and divulge things (as a friend of baddog) that I (as a client of baddog) would have no reason to know. It's a question I am sure he will answer very happily when he returns to the board.

How many results show are really irrelavant when determining how dificult of a term it may be to achieve.

Heres a great example, and its not just a one case scenario here, this is a perfect example of how irrelavant that information is.

Heres the google serps for "big cocks". It shows 1 of 4.140,000 results. Which isnt that many, really its dick.

Now lets look at a serp for 'spring thomas" It shows 1 of 45,000,000 results.

Which to most people, would lead them to beleive its a much more lucrative term, or a more searched term, maybe even more pages built..whatever, its wrong.

If you look carefully, or even just plain look, you will see that the most lucrative money terms on google for adult, all show less then 6 million results.
big cocks
milf
blowjobs
big tits (ok 8 mil pages)

Now a serp more likely to be desired by newbienudes would be Nude Girls, and that shows 1-11,000,000, but i bet its 5 times easier of a term to get then big cocks, blowjobs, or milf.

How many serps show within your results truly is meaningless in deciding how to persue the term.

Most webmasters read WAY to far into it.
