owner of leehotti.com sold his site on sitepoint yesterday.

Package includes:
- leehotti.com
- leehottie.com
- 25 cafepress stores with 11 including products.
- my help as admin for a few days to deal with new submissions.
- free hosting*

If you haven't heard of this guy already, he is basically the new internet craze / starwars lightsabre kid / o'rly owl.

If you want more info on him, please ask or just view the site or the original thread (link on site homepage) - you will soon get a good idea what it is about!

I am a designer by trade and created this site after viewing the original thread on Sherdog.com, for the first 70 pages of its existence. I realised at that point what a good opportunity it was and took it.

It took off at a good pace but grew monumentally to its current level, after spreading round the boards and humor sites (as mentioned above, I have a stupidly large number of referring URLs after just 4 days).

Why I am selling
1. I am more interested in a quick profit, due to current financial situation (i.e. paying rent).
2. I run the site on my own and promised I would take my girlfriend away for our 3 year anniversary, on Monday. I can't do both and I want to keep my priorities in order.

Since 1999: 69 Adult Industry awards for Best Hosting Company and professional excellence.

I checked it out on alexa yesterday, it reached it's peak and is starting do drop like a stone. Look at the counter on the site, no wonder he's selling it. Feel sorry for the guy who bought it. The only way to keep that site going is to add more guido photo's or new guido photo's but I'm sure the guido's all heard about it and won't appreciate people taking pictures from them.

Hell, everybody can redirect some 404 traffic or even buy chinese traffic and make some site a TOP 10.000 on Alexa.

The site is not even 1 month old, come on!

It's all about the internet hype.. gotta take it when you can get it.. just like sites such as smashmyxbox.com or milliondollarhomepage.com.. Traffic won't last forever but when it comes it should be a lot for a limited time.

why would you sell advertising on something that isnt even yours.

its already sold to a new owner on sitepoint.

the guy who runs it isnt even a guido. he just saw the post on sherdog and thought of the idea to make a site. thats how he scored all the traffic.
