Why is it that non of these big porn star sites impress me? What is wrong with them getting nice looking sites? Is it me or do they all suck?

All major pornstar sites give me the feeling like they show up at some studio once a month shoot a couple bland pics and go home, have no idea what their site looks like or even what the url is...

Usually this happens when inhouse production team takes over after designer delivered design and 'fixes' it.

WOW they are pretty shitty looking.

They would have probaly looked okay with an old 15inch CRT monitor but now with new bigger and better monitors you really need to get with the times and use colors and pictures that will POP and make your site just have that WOW factor..

porn girls are worse than solo girl models - they are unable to run their own sites so they farm it out to some companies who mass produce these cookie cutter members areas that are light on content and don't update - you'll usually see a Diary in a porn star's members area and it's got a couple of posts from 3 years ago. i'm sure there are some exceptions but I've never seen a good one. I think at one time Jenna had a good one for awhile.

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

Most porn girls I know get paid their $1,000 per scene. They would rather just lay there and take it deep than spend the time and effort it takes to get quality content for their site. Moreover, they feel that they are too good to do cam shows, or answer their own email.

These are the biggest problems with doing a site bases around a "porn star".

Those sites (actually they looked alot better back then) sold great back in 2001-2002 timeframe - of course the program was being run by someone who knew what he was doing back then - since then they have been left in the dust and conversions went to shit

Just make sure it looks personal... like the girl has a real interest in the site and is involved. I've seen $3000 tour designs by some of the top companies totally flop because they were too glossy. Make it look nice and professional, sure, but keep it personal.
