I was in open beta for a while. Had a 28 Undead Warlock, and a couple other lower characters. I have played EQ since day one and have been playing EQ2. WoW and EQ2 are seriously different games. WoW is set up for the Xbox gamer that enjoys jumping in and out and who maybe only has an hour or so to play. EQ2 is very detail oriented and has tons of depth. Set up for the extreme hardcore player. I went last week to the launch party in San Francisco for EQ2 and was talking with several of SOE's developers about this and how each game will have its own audience and there will be tons of people who play both. I personally will play both.
So with all these GFYers that are planning to play WoW... I will announce Tuesday when the servers open which WoW server will be the official GFY WoW server. Figure we all mine as well hang out. Also if anyone is playing EQ2 and enjoying it you can find myself and a couple other GFYers on The Nek server. Just hit up "Limpy"No OneComment

I played the beta and I am a little bit dissappointed of this game. I played a lot of MMORPGs but this one couldn't get me into the universe. And I think the character design sucks because they look like characters from the Final Fantasy online gameSIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment
