GFY Admins please read having troubles with the site for 3 weeks now

For about 2-3 weeks now everytime I try to go to the boards using Firefox / Mozilla the site hangs and never opens.

Sometimes I can access it using IE, but even when I do access it using IE the only thing I can do is respond to posts using the quick reply button.

I can read threads and respond using the quick reply button but if I decide to post a new thread, or hit the reply button or click on "use advanced features" the page hangs.

I can't edit existing posts either.

I am not the only person who is esperiencing this. There have been threads about this popping up a few times.

Now that the site has been upgraded and there is no quick reply form at the bottom of threads I can't even reply now. I might as well be banned at this point because that's about as useful as my account is.

I hope you guys can get this rectified.

Sure I can make a post now, but this is just like last week where I was able to for about 2 days as well.

Do you have another desktop or laptop to try with? It sounds like a personal problem.

It's not a personal problem.

There have been posts by people like MrPheer, DeanCapture etc who are having the same problems.

It isn't an isolated problem because I've been having the same exact troubles. They know about it too, but can't seem to figure it out.

For everyone its happening to, its been like 2-3 weeks, so a couple weeks ago they must have made some changes. I wish they would figure it out.

I get the impression that lag is a natural property of FF. Happens to me wherever I go.

Okay. I notice that when I type responses there is a noticable delay before the text appears on the screen. I thought I was just typing too fast for FF as it crashes on me sometimes when I get into a typing groove.

LOL sorry man but you keep responding to stuff I already addressed in my post.

#1 It's not just me.
#2 It occurs in Firefox, Mozilla, and IE.
#3 I get days like this where I can use the site. It occurs for like 1-2 days and then goes back to be totally clusterfucked.

So I don't know if the new upgrade resolved the issues or if sometime tomorrow I'm back to being virtually banned.

i use firefox
this site hangs on loading, hangs on posting, hangs on opening threads.. only this site...
this is even happening with googles cashed copy of gfy

this has been happening for a week

Dude you are totally off base. Firefox is becoming the standard. Go look at your user info from the stats on your sites. If you can filter it to only Americans Firefox is way up there. It will edge out IE soon.
