Well, I have been talking to ipolic for a long time, when I was growing my mature niche sites, I can only say he really is a very hard working webmaster. Never did $ biz with him, but I think he is a stand up guy.

The fact that he never sold ads before, or that his english is not perfect shouldn't be a reason to start posting negative stuff about him. Joe, at least give him the benefit of doubt, let him build a reputation man

GFY has seen many get screwed. You're more likely to get screwed over than finding an honest traffic provider. To me, these are signs of problems and NO ONE is going to tell me otherwise. I've seen people get ripped off and it will happen again. The question is, ipolic be next.

1) I asked what traffic the banner could send, every answer was different.

2) I asked him what he wants for the space, NOT ONE ANSWER.

3) He contacted me, and then says he wouldn't sell the space to me.

Also, for everyone's knowledge, ipolic is selling TGP traffic. Granted it's a banner, the quality will better than gallery traffic, but not much. His traffic comes from other TGPs and skimmed. I value his traffic at $.001 to $.004 per unique.

Joe, I think the only thing he knows is that wants to sell that space cos he knows it is sending a lot of traffic to a sponsor or in a way that is not being profitable, so wanted to talke to whomever was interested to see how much he should charge for it, etc.

I also guess he got confused - after reading the icq log - and he thought you were looking for feeder traffic so he said he wasn't going to sell it to you.

The only thing I can say is that he worked hard to build that traffic, cos he never bought any feeder. I have been there too, I just think you are being hard on him because his words weren't probably the right ones for lack of those subtle expressions and words that only come when you use your mother language

You know how valuable a reputation is in this biz man, and yes, sometimes I talk to other webmasters whose english is not great and I get pissed off and think they have no manners and such, but with some patience you get to understand that is something beyond their actual intentions.

I appreciate you both and the whole issue looks like misunderstanding to me.
