Shrooms are banned in the Netherlands because of the fucking tourists. They come here for 3 days and try to get as fucked up as possible. They should make them illegal for tourists only.
I hope the tourists don't fuck up weed/hash for us dutch people too

Not yet, but at this point, it seems like more politicians are for a shrooms banning I've heared the real voting will be next week. And then it will still take a long LONG time before they are actually banned.

just curious if you have done shrooms before ? I'm not saying you haven't but your description seems a tad strange

everytime you do anything you have a different experience

i would be curious for some actual stats about drug related deaths.

i.e.
X amount of people died while under the influence of cocaine
X amount of people died while under the influence of mushrooms
X amount of people died while under the influence of alcohol

etc..

from my own personal experience mushroms are probably the safest of the bunch

but then again its hard to rate a hallucigen with other things, as you just wouldnt take them in the same scenario's , shrooms are not a "party" drug

i think the reasons he mentioned are what put pressure on them to change the laws but not the reason they stated ( i could be wrong here ) , from what i remeber its about not being able to verify the amount of the active ingredient in the mushrooms. 1 mushroom compared to the next one may have completely different amounts of the active ingr3edient even though they are the exact same variety thus its hard to figure out how much is a "safe" dose

aren't the amount of ingredients and the outcome basically tied to eachother in some way? Together with how you feel, the situation you are in and so on ofcourse.

I wouldn't call them the safest drug though but thats just from my own experience. I'd fell perfectly good (well mostly lol) if I had to light a joint right now but would never do shrooms again. And I felt bad a lot of times after smoking weed too lol

Anway thats what I read last week, that the results of taking them can be too diffrent and are hard to tell upfront.

BTW I am sure that the suicide of that french girls and that other guy killing his dog on shrooms was helping a lot when they decided this ;))

we did some in amsterdam in june .. so fresh and tasted delicious ... thats the first time i ever had non dried shrooms... i got the usuall high i get kinda paranoid like when ya first smoke weed they lasted long time too 10 hrs i have the most fun when i get real drunk first then take shrooms is the way to go then the paranoia is drowned out by the liquor.

Instead of other drugs such as cocaine, xtc and so, shrooms are tripping drugs. Hallucinations occur. It can be fun, it can be terrible. Education is the way to go. Smartshops provide that education.

Once you ban shrooms, the will go into the criminal citcuit. Meaning people don't know what the hell they are getting theirselves into.

My guess is that once this happens, a lot more accidents will happen. Therefore shrooms should be available in these smartshops, and our government should listen to the mayor of Amsterdam, who proposed a 3 day 'think it over" period for potential users.

True but here in Amsterdam we have a special police / medical assistance unit to recover wasted tourists, lol and there is every week some incident.

I know exactly what you mean, but tourist under estimate the strength of Dutch weed.

For example my brother in law visited me last month and we went to a party. I gave him a skunk joint but after 20 minutes he could barely walk/talk anymore, totally wasted.

First time Snoop Dog visited Amsterdam for a concert he was on stage with a huge bigg ass skunk joint but after a while he couldn't rap anymore because he was to fucking high lol.

Wrong.
You can smoke, its not a waste of Mushi.
Its better to take it orally but after some hours you can smoke some also with or without pot to make it last longer.
