A cruise is definetly great if your just looking to relax! the food is great, entertainment everywhere you go but the casino isn't that great! Also, you are very limited to the boat. I went in August on a Carnival Cruise and I must say it was great for relaxing and not so much for partying!

Odie is right. Do your research if you're going on a cruise. They can vary so greatly in quality of everything.

If you want warm weather and you have a lot of cash to burn Maui is a good choice as it has amazing restaurants, really good activities, and ok nightlife.

If you don't mind long flights Thailand has equally nice beaches and its dirt cheap.

Japan is fun for a very interesting cultural experience but its one of the most expensive places in the world.

Europe is always fun if you haven't been.

Somewhere with lots of sun and a beach. I've never enjoyed cruises, but I guess if you're a "cruise ship" kinda person, that would be pretty relaxing.

A cruise is nice, because you can do much more than just lay on a boat. You can go hiking, and then visit ruins, and scuba diving all in one week, and in 3 different places.

I have taken 4 cruises, and they are one of the best types of vacations you can have,.

i just booked a cruise for next month on norwegian. anyone have experience with them? its out of nyc and goes to the bahamas. heres the review i found, the site seemed really informative:

If i had more time to take Hawaii would probably be my choice but 7 days isnt long enough for me to travel that far
