The site offers access to illegal downloads in return for the user signing up for one of 3 PB sites.

The first link is an offer page with an explanation of what the user has to do. The second link provides three different PB sites to choose from.

No spyware involved anywhere. If you have absolutely no clue what the hell you're talking about, keep you're mouth shut. It'll make you look a lot smarter.

Step 1 - Surfer gets to http://www.pirateaccess.com/signup.php

Step 2 - Above URL contains text explaining said offer with a "Next Step" button.

Step 3 - Surfer clicks on "Next Step" button.

Step 4 - Surfer arrives at page with step-by-step instructions.

Step 5 - Surfer clicks on http://8.14.147.194/x/pa.html

Step 6 - Above URL contains three links to three PB sites.

Step 7 - Surfer joins one of three sites, gets confirmation email of join.

Step 8 - Surfer returns to http://www.pirateaccess.com/signup.php and enters receipt ID to get access to warez site.

No spyware/scumware/malware involved. The above process takes place on an old WinXP machine, a 3 day old Vista laptop and on a MacBook running OS x.4.

But if he's a webmaster doing a test signup, and he went to a PB tour and clicked on the JOIN link...then he would never see that "pirateaccess" bullshit UNLESS he was infected with some kind of shit that made him re-direct.

I found it myself because they had the number one result for some keywords I was going for. Not because I was infected by spyware. How the original poster found it is irrelevant, but he probably found it in the same fashion.

He never said he was testing join links. He simply summarized exactly what the site offers. "Sign up for a Platinum Bucks site and get access to tons of warez and free porn".
