Thats right, despite 100's of movies, shows, documentaries and 100.000's if not millions of people who claim they have physcic abilities a total of ZERO missing persons have been found thanks to them. So why ANYBODY with an IQ above 80 would believe that shit is beyond me.

I think you may be wrong, I think quite a few people were found using those scams.... BUT, the tips that the psychic gave them were probably "the body is near the water", or "the body is in the forest" or some vague crap like that...
They work same way as normal psychic readings, they give what seems like specific information, but really is just vague bullshit "you will live near the water", "you will have problems with your significant other", "I see death in the family" etc etc...
