Just a guess, but they probably left his phpmyadmin wide open, and thats how the guy got in. Typed in hisdomain.com/phpmyadmin/ and bambo. Am I right Jay? btw it wasnt me lol. I had someone not configure mysql right, and had a hacker find that out on one of my boxes. Luckily I do a data backup every 24 hours, so not much was lost. 1) xxxjay was hacked... it was a very LOW level hacker who did absolutely nothing to cover his tracks...
2) The hacker in question isn't a hacker.. he is a script kiddie with NO money and no prospects in the adult community. Sooooooo... NO MONEY... We talked at length about turning everything over to the authorities but he has no money... so xxxjay cannot recover anything at all... not even a few hundred.... so xxxjay decided to have the guy work it off... the only outcome that would make xxxjay money. Or atleast offest the damage.
3) Anyone who wants to talk about fake drama or ask for proof can kiss my lilly-white ass. xxxjay's ass too... come on over and kiss it fuckers!
I applaud him in taking it to another level.. a civil level where the fucker is going to have to pay for what he did...
What kind of work? Nothing that requires a high level of trust on xxxjays partners/associates part. He will not have access to anything that will effect you. Will he catch a clue working in the xxxjay organization? God dammit I hope so! I really do! I hope he shows some real potential and I hope xxxjay and the hacker both get somewhere beyond what they have both accomplished.
If you know me... you know it isn't fake drama and that is as far as I will go. The guy was not even a mediocure player in the industry so no name dropping is needed.

Glad you caught him Jay and that hopefully you can recover most of the lost data. As for if he can sue the guy or no because of this deal. I'm sure Jay has a good lawyer and the deal was made in a Without prejudice kind of way. So that if the guy does not follow through he can bring a new suit on the same claim. Hope something similar doesn't happen to you again rock on Jay 2006 can only get better
