The trick is where you focus your eyes. As you are viewing a 2d rendering of a 3d object, when the body flips, the discerning bits that your mind tell you are the "body" lose the slight bulges which your mind tells you is the defining characteristic.

It goes both ways for me.
I opened it in image ready and I can see it going both ways even when I click it frame by frame forward and reverse.

That's because when it rotates, it does so in a way that you use your frame of reference. As there are no color differences, your mind can easily reconstruct it in the other direction.
