    Question for people using Wells Fargo

    Are you charged to receive wire transfers? My branch claims everyone from small accounts to million dollar accounts must pay to receive each wire. It doesn't make a bit of sense to me. Why would they charge to put guaranteed funds into your account.

      Yes you are charged. My friend has WF and has to pay to recieve wire trasnfers. I have BofA and they charage a $10 "processing fee"

      all bs imo just to take money from you.

          yes they do. So does Washington Mutual. I think wamu is $15.

                                              Yes...processing fee charged for every wire incoming or outgoing. Doesn't make any sense for the incoming!

                                                              Change banks.

                                                              WF only charges me $5 to send a wire transfer

                                                              That is great.

                                                              Citibank charges nothing to recieve it

                                                              On the other hand, I have another bank that charges $20 for a transfer.
