ICQ... wtf? Is this happening to anybody else?
Over the last couple weeks, I've been having this problem whenever I have ICQ windows open wherein the windows behave like exit consoles that have been coded to "focus forward" - meaning that open (but idle) ICQ windows suddenly spring to the foreground and interrupt whatever I'm doing at the moment. This appears to happen at random intervals - or at least I have not been able to discern a pattern/likely 'trigger' for it, so far.
I've also had the program act as though I've hit the 'tab' key, thus activating the send button, resulting in messages being sent before I'm done typing them.
I've spoken to a few other people that are having the same problem, including a couple of my XBIZ coworkers. Anybody here having the same problem? Any idea how to stomp this miserable bug?
My apologies if somebody else has already posted about this - the GFY search function got hung up when I tried to check.
