    Montreal VIDEOTRON! WTF!

    Those who have Videotron...has your connection been Ssssssslowwww the past 3 days?

    Both my home and office connections are fucking painfull. I cant hardly load my sites/program and GFY...forget about it!

    We called 4 times, "no problem on our end" Fucking idiots!

      Have Extreme here, it is ok, but has some drpos today, causing my IP phones to cut off....

      The service dept. is trained to tell you to unplug your router, shutdown your PC, etc .... basically the problem is you.

      Well, I had an issue a year ago, repeating itself ( slow and losing connectivity ).
      Afte escalating past the first and second level, they sent techs. It so happened that a repeater was near dead about 1/2 mile from my place....

      Anyway, if it is slow, complain to the top.
      I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

      But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

          I'm on the other side of the island from you and no complaints today. Some days, the connection has it's moments. The only time we call anymore is if we are completely down. It's just not worth the hassle. We've been through the standard, "Everything is running fine here. Must be your router, modem, your PC", or whatever other canned responses they could come up with. If we get a tech out here, of course that is the day the connection runs well. LOL!

                          hating videotron ... I've ben payin for extreme but been getting basic .. I've never gotten the upload speeds promised .. Not much choice in this city .. sympatico is even worse !

                          I gotta get my own tech to come to my house .. he came last year and was able to kick up my speeds .. but now they're back down again

                                  guys i know some one who got a new ISP, and they said its currently the fastest in montreal with 25mb up
                                  ill be getting the number or website really soon because im interested and ill post here

                                  (they only have a few spots in montreal that has their services)

                                      Probably an ADSL2+ provider (Colba Net). Tops out at ~25 mbps if you're right next to the DSLAM. Realistically, you'll get between 8 and 12 mbps if you live within a few blocks of Atwater metro.
