    MOBILE CONTENT-Is Anyone Making $$ w/Their Content on Phones??

    I keep getting approached by all these different mobile companies to put my content on their systems. What's the deal? Anyone making any real money doing this? If so, like what? I'm always looking for ways to distribute my content but 2 things: Sometimes the systems of delivery just don't work, or aren't marketed well, and 2ndly if they are, your content gets lost in a sea of other content and it's not really profitable. Like the PPV models. I put my stuff on HotMovies, etc. and at first did ok because new stuff gets put up front. But after a month or two, your payouts drop and it's just not worth your while.

    Talk to me...Let's here some thoughts...I just saw the long OhMobile thread today, so I wanted to start a new one...

          Thanks Screamin', I have chatted with them many times, but I'd rather here it from someone OTHER than the sponsor touting what you can make... And Yes, I don't like the fact that they want exclusive. Talks died off with them after I mentioned I wanted to change that "little" detail in their contract.

                          why do you think you're being approached?
                          Because they smell money and need your content to make it.

                          Either keep the content for your own profits,
                          or become a content provider.
