I'd think that, provided you're not also eating something like arsenic cookies, you're ok downing one beer.
I brewed for 5 years... stirring the mash tun, lifting the grains out, heaving sacks of malt...
And I was usually a bit buzzed off of my product in the process...
Still have a clean bill of health... and my liver's just fine.
Booze, in general, gets a bad rap.
