As you know my Dad has stage 4 lung cancer, it hit his brain, the outside of his lungs and his lymph nodes. They shrunk the brain tumors and the chemo is working on others. My father has a iron will but the chemo has seriously been kicking his ass. He looked so down a couple of weeks ago, I decided to write Rudy Giuliani.My dad is a Republican and likes Rudy alot the whole being the first italian thing,its a old school thing. So I wrote Rudy and figured after a few weeks nothing was going to happen. Then a couple of days ago there is a knock on the door its ups with a package. He sent my Dad a copy of his book on leadership and he wrote alittle note to my Dad and his senior political adviser included a note. It meant so much to my Dad, Rudy did the right thing.

Couldn't find a picture of Rudy with his first wife (a second cousin of his).
Family values Rudy, divorced his second wife while he was Mayor (she had cancer at the time).

I'm not a Republican but I kind of like Rudy Giuliani from time to time. He did do something very cool for your father. I hope that his Italian idol gives him the strength and will to recover. Very cool indeed.Comment

Not to be a cynic, yet having seen enough show biz and assistance on at least one campaign. I would not put to many eggs in any basket that Rudy even signed it and that it was not someone else acting of his behalf to sign everything he gets.Comment

Honestly, I know jack shit about politics myself, but I heard Rudy G on a talk radio show and he seemed like he actually had a brain and didn't give cookie-cutter kiss-ass answers like I hear most politicians spew. So he gained a little respect from me in that manner.
But shortly after, I heard him talk about himself in how he did so much in the 9/11 days. It's not like everyone doesn't know that already, so that kinda negated the positives that I heard from him beforehand.Comment
