Yes, he was offering to help, and that is a good thing. I agree with the janitor keeping his HANDS OFF things. BUT, I don't want him to say "I'm just the janitor, good luck with that". Like I said though, mainly it was just the football comment that rubbed me the wrong way. You know him apparently, so your opinion is biased.
