How many people have even heard that oer a million Christian Armenians were slaghtered by the Turks during WWI?

All I ever learned about that war in school was that it started with the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and that we won.

I only heard about this within the last few months and it turns out that Hitler said he could get away with the Jewish Holocaust because no one knew or cared about the Armenian genocide in WWI.

I'm not a religious guy but when I heard about this I was astounded. Turkey continues to deny it ever happened, and apparently the US will not acknowledge it either.
