    I'm with Pocket on sentencing. My prediction: Prosecutors won't risk trial, fearing a redneck juror could throw the case. Plea bargain to involuntary manslaughter, max sentence of maybe 5 years, youthful offender program applies in florida to age 24, meaning overcrowded kiddy jail, so out in 3 years for good behavior.

                    Up here in Toronto some of the military dorks beat a homeless guy to death last year. People don't have any respect for them because they see them as sub-human. They don't understand how a person can live on the scraps of society, living in a park, sleeping on a bench eating garbage, etc. It takes away the human level.

                    Those mofos in Florida need a stay in prison to get their assholes widened though. They showed a pattern by attacking multiple homeless guys in different locations. It wasn't just a one off idea of going and smacking around some homeless guy.

                        Kids are not much different than 50, 100, or whatever years ago ... do some reading and one finds many instances of very young people doing horrendous things.

                        The difference today is the public is more aware of such horrible events due to technology that allows news from all over to be aggregated and dessiminated widely near instantly.

                        Kids themselves aren't much different ... it's natural for every generation to think somehow they're better, worse, or whatever than the previous - but often, there's little difference at all ... human nature remains relatively unchanged over thousands of years.

                                                    It's not unusual for teenagers to murder. The majority of people who've lived or died prior to the mid 1900s were teenagers and twenty somethings. If you look at human history you'll see violence that won't end. We're violent creatures. Our savagery is similar with that of chimpanzees who are horrid to one another. Actually we're worse.

                                                    This is nothing more than parental irresponsibility and cultural insensitivity gone amok.

                                                    A lack of corporal punishment can lead to a resolution with capital punishment.
