Broncos Put It to the Patriots

27-13 but the game MUCH closer than that score. The Broncos forced a lot of turnovers with wicked hits and the like (except for Troy Brown's punt flub) but the Patriots are their equal, no doubt about it. But turnovers will almost always kill you.

Pats gave it to them. Plus those refs blew a few big calls.

Faulk basically had the ball ripped from him by Courtney Brown, which is a forced fumble by the defense, and Denver's punter, Sauerbrun, smashed the Patriot returner and caused the ball to come loose. Those are forced fumbles by the Broncos. Only Troy Brown muffed that 3rd fumble. Both teams are extremely hard hitting. Denver didn't sack Brady, but the hammered him all nite with blitzes. And that stays with a quarterback, no matter who you are. It causes panicked plays after that: see Bailey's interception when Brady rolled away from the pressure of a blitz.

I dont want to hear shit about the refs. The Patriots are the most blessed team in the league when it comes to calls going their way. They can do no wrong in anyones eyes. They were beat simple as that. Denver is the better team.

                    They weren't "wicked hits, though.

Denver did absolutely nothing. Pats gave them all the points. It was just a bad game for NE...no way Denver is "the better team" IMO.
