Is SLI 256 MB GTX good enough? That is as you know 2x Nvidia 7800GTX 256MB In SLI. Graphic card and monitors are big investment, any help would be appreciated, 512 MB are on the market and there are rumors for 7900 as well, but I cannot wait much.Comment

Mr2tho, all 7800 chips should be compatible from what I've read. You definitely don't need 512MB vid cards.

I'm so glad to see this thread, I just was just looking at the dell site and debating on two 24"s or a single 30". Anything larger than that, and I'd be afraid my ADD would kick in and I'd get even more side tracked than I do now.

Some might prefer two 24's over a single 30. Having a single monitor is a cleaner setup, but the only issue I've had with the 30-inchers since it's SO damn huge, is that the far right/left side of the monitor can be rough on the eyes since the angles get a little extreme. The dpi is a little smaller than on the 24's as well, so the text will be noticeably smaller.
