Who is gonna be doing less traveling this year?

Personally I am cutting down my show attendance and stuff.

Last year i did too much and took a mental beating on me.

Got to the point where i coulndt even stand to get on a plane and shit.

2-3 planned so far think that might be it unless its a close show in Canada which is like a 45 min plane ride.

man, i have only been to two shows, and am kinda tired of it already... i got sick in florida and vegas both... i ended up in the room damn near the whole time in vegas from being sick... didnt even get to enjoy it or see anything cool, and it was my first time there

Ive never been to a show but am planning on going to Amsterdam in September. I have friends in Holland and wanna spend a few extra days visiting. Other than that if I dont sell a shitload of Fleshlights im not going nowhere lol

The last show I went to was in Vancouver. I loved the city, but I got a little jaded about the whole "show" aspect of it. I did meet some great people (that was the first time I met Sleazy and DH), but on the other hand, I had negative experiences too. After that experience, I haven't really wanted to go to anything. I always think maybe I'll go, but the time rolls around and I just don't feel it.

Since then, I've been to a party at Chokers house in Orlando, Detroit, upstate NJ, and Atlantic City a few times to meet with webmasters that I consider friends, but honestly, I've lost the fever for the larger webmaster shows. Lately, most of my interactions have been one-on-one with cool people that I enjoy doing biz with. I think I might like to go to Phoenix since it's a smaller show, but I'm on the fence about it and from what I hear, it's sold out...so that will probably make my decision for me. *shrug*

It will be hard for me to travel less as I only went to Montreal last year But this year I see myself doing about 3 shows at least. WA Toronto for sure and i'll have to pick the others on a case by case basis.

Right now the only trips I have planned for industry work is a trip next weekend to Youngstown, OH to photograph a bunch of ladies from Elegant Images Modeling (EIM) and Sinsations.com. Also, sometime this summer will be my annual pilgrimage to FetishCon.

miami
vegas
amsterdam
and phoenix

the rest is no option for me right now
I might not make it to phoenix this year but miami and amsterdam are set
Shows are just vacation i can taxdeduct for me... a place to see friends again and make some new ones

Man I slowed down going to the shows/travelling a couple years ago...
A few years ago I figured out I had over 350 hours of flight time that year alone.. ( I figured that out on a plane with shitty inflight movies )

My travel has changed.

For the past few years, I was flying once a month.
It gets to be very stressful...being on the road every month.

Less shows this year.

More travel to Europe for company meetings. I have a two week trip planned to Zurich in February.....and then we'll see.

Man all the shows I see you posting about, I dunno how you do it. I still haven't gone to any shows. There have been a few, that I wanted to go to.. but never did.

I wouldn't mind going to that Costa Rica Show or the Phoenix show but I have too much shit to do and it's hard to get away.

Most of my traveling last year was pleasure, but yes, I'll be cutting down on it. It takes me 1.5 hours each way to get to the airport, then wait in line, then spend the time on the plane, then getting from the plane to the hotel, then lather, rinse, repeat. Mentally I'm just exhausted from traveling. I'd like to go to internationally somewhere but 1-2 times a month was grueling.

That sounds like fun. We did 4 countries in 2.5 weeks right before the Amsterdam show. That was a blast but really wears ya out.

I think i am going to do way more traveling this year then ever before in my life. Hence why i am now preparing mentaly and physcally for it.

Traveling to much at parties and partying takes a huge toll on one self.

Juicy I am sure you will have a kickass year with less travel. But please come and see us in Canada at least 1ce.
