I had mine removed last week. It was like a constant, dull pain in the bottom of my stomach. It felt like gas.By the time I was ready for surgery the pain was very very strong.I was curled up in to a ball in my bed the whole time.

It was 24 hours between the first symptoms and my surgery and I already had early signs of peritonitis (dunno if that´s what its called in english). That´s when the apendix bursts and spreads the infection. And that´s when you can die.

Only three small holes and in 2 days you are back home.A bit of pain for a week but that´s it.
