Guess who had to pay $1100 today for parking LOL

Here's the story... I posted a pic of a porsche cayenne in bjdufs car 2006 thread... the pic i got from google as a placeholder because I had no pic of my car taken.
So one of my buddies on ICQ hits me up telling me to get fucking down to take a pic of the rims I chose because he wanted to see them.. so there I am, camera in one hand - door keys in the other.
I just opened the door when I saw my new toy at the back of the tow-car, being driven away.
So then I walk to the two old ladies in uniform that immediately start asking if I knew who's car that was...

So they tell me I got around 950? in open fines for not paying any parking fees

A little background: the fuckers over here want to charge me more than ~$2.6 an hour for parking outside of my own apartment here in the netherlands - of course I am not paying that... instead I've been collecting those tickets as a sign that I don't give a fuck about them lol
at 48? a ticket this sums up pretty fast lol

So I walk to the building to pay the fees and here is something funny... the guy asks me (right after I paid) if I he was going to see me again over here
My reply was a friendly: "most likely" lol

Best of all... I forgot to take a pic of my car while being towed away and I still got no pics of the rims either lol
Fuck that... no more car pics lol... talk about bad karma

LOL Trax that is too much - it is ridiculos what parking costs are anywhere these days. Oh well it's good you can make light of it.

I am not dutch.. thats the "problem"
In order to be allowed to park outside of my crib I'd have to officially signup at the city and if I spend more than half a year in the country I would have to pay taxes here
and trust me
at 50-53% (not 100% sure) this is no option to me hehe

but bowling sounds nice nevertheless hehe

I feel you man! I'll bring my Boeing 767 but leaving it at Schiphol. I let budget airlines use it in the meantime.

Is there no secure parking in your area closeby? Where you pay like 300 euro for a full month? Because next time this will happen when you need the car...Now you didn't really care...But what when you want to leave on saturday night for some party, and there is no car

over here in oz there was someone that couldn't park out front of her house , so she claimed she was disabled and got a disabled parking sign put up out front of her apartment , the only person in the street that could legally park out the front of her apartment
