Blog is a very popular word, this domain is similiar to owning ShockSite.com ShockWeb.com ShockCentral.com etc. Very brandable plus if you combine the domain name part BLOG with any search term you can see that SERPs for a domain with BLOG in it is going to be valuable. I am not saying this is a thousand dollar domain but come on its worth more than $40. I am not insulted in the least I can hang on to these for years. Just throwing this domain as well as some others out there to see if anyone else is visionary.
