    Dedicated Server For $25/mo

    Hey is anyone using this:

    It looks like a good plan for only $25/mo if you need under 200 GB monthly bandwidth and it seems fully managed.... is anyone using this?

    Can someone tell me if there are any problems with the specs.... I just want to run some php sites and some html sites. Im a novice.

                                                                                  Until recently I was paying $35/mo for a dedicated Pentium 133 with 64MB RAM, 2GB HD and 5 GB of transfer per month. I am not joking about the specs.

                                                                                  I used it for secondary DNS but in the end it wasn't worth paying $35 when I could get a P4 2.4GHz with a decent sized HD and oodles more transfer for around twice that monthly fee... the latter server could do a lot more than just DNS...

In the case of the UK mob it's obvious they're using obsolete hardware (would you really trust the mechanicals in a 6.5GB hard drive which is probably from around 1999ish?)

                                                                                                              Serverpronto looks better in that regard, but some web research suggests that you'll end up incurring extra costs sooner or later anyway... phantom traffic pushing up your included gigs and mysterious crashes that require a $29 fee to reboot.

                                                                                                                          I've had great service & support from hahahahahaha for many years and they are well priced. You can get better pricing and al-a-cart if you contact them via ICQ usually.

                                                                                                                          I have 7 servers behind a private switch with backup drives and a ton of bandwidth. I think my Unix servers run me $200 a month and my backup drives are free. They also colocate my Google Mini servers for next to nothing, just charge me for power.

                                                                                                                          I've used Webair, ATCI, and a couple others and am totally satisfied with hahahahahaha. BTW I've never waited more than 2 minutes to receive a response via ICQ, phone, tickets, or email.

                                                                                                                              If you want to make REAL $$$ you must pay to play.

                                                                                                                              I used to make $1700 a month in this game... I used virtual hosting plans and bullshit. I then bought my own server, paid for scripts instead of using free ones and instantly went up to $4K two months later.

                                                                                                                              What changed? Speed. My surfers didn't have to wait for shit to load anymore.

                                                                                                                              Now check out the URL in my sig and get some cheap traffic to boost your ability to trade and what not.
