My Gears of War Review
Ok, so I've had this game now for about 2 weeks. I have no problems with the campaign mode, it's a great game, awesome graphics, good story, lots of action.
Versus (online) sucks ass. It has to be the worst online game I have ever played. Ya ya ya ya, the graphics are cool, the blood is cool, heads exploding and bodies riping apart, again cool. But give me a fucking break this is supposedly a "Next Gen" game? Please, my PS2 Socom 2 has more features than this bullshit. You can't even fucking jump, you can't drop off a stupid fucking 3 foot ledge, the whole environment is worthless, it's a complete joke. Come on, 1 fucking button that makes you run and hide and roll? What a fucking cluster fuck idea that is, I love how you are running then suddenly stick to a fucking wall, why? because is the same fucking button. Fucking stupid.
Anyway, if you are looking for a quality versus game, I do not recommend Gears of War at all. Battle Field 2 which is several years old now runs circles around this game.
