I spent some time with Shap & Shapette this week in LA and both of them were a little sick after attending Internext. I've only been to Internext twice in Vegas and both time I got sick afterwards. Just curious........

I'm pretty allergic to cigarette smoke as well. Still, it's all about staying hydrated. I'm no doctor but it seems to work well for me.Comment

I started to get sick on the plane ride back. I got home and slept like 30 hours, no kidding! now I feel better, just sneezing a bit. the sleep helped considering I got zero sleep in vegas!

I'm with Aaron on this one. The dry desert air, combined with unfamiliar cigarette/cigar smoke (smoking is banned in most public spaces in California), takes a toll on a non-smoker like myself. Keeping hydrated with bottled water really helps (don't drink the crappy Las Vegas tap water).
I'm not germphobic, however, I am also very careful to carry handi-wipes, and clean my hands after every 5-10 handshakes or before touching anywhere around my face.
I can't afford to be sick, so I always take preventative measures.
If you got sick in Vegas, heed this advice for future shows, where germs are sure to arrive from every corner of the globe.
