Ok so the information manual they gave us says we have until 2am Sat. night to move out of the booth. Show ended at 3pm. I went to get food. Came back at 5pm and the whole booth is broken down, gone, along with all my banners! WTF??? What if I had left expensive equipment in there. They take that too??? I refrained from posting until now, but the fuckers won't return phone calls either. That's just fucking ignorant.

In my experience, booth breakdown starts at 3pm, how it's always been.. you got till 3pm to have your important shit packed up and you start hauling it out when everyone starts leaving at 3pm. that's really how it's always been...
I think you have until 2am that night to come back and pack up any other shit that is left over after booth dismantaling takes place..I'm here for the violence!Comment

The first year we exhibited we had a little mishap with stolen items and such during breakdown. Now that you are experienced you'll know to never leave your booth stuff alone.

Rule #1: It's your stuff, don't walk away from it. Leaving at teardown time to get a meal, take a break, take a dump, whatever is it you do is pretty much vacating the premises. This is double true is you are using a standard 10 x 10 booth space with their curtain, their side rails, their table, chairs, and just a banner hanging.
It wouldn't have killed you to spend an hour to finish up and then go party like it was 1999.
