Fed Ex is a horror story, Whoever runs that company must be a complete idiot. I know people left and right leaving Fed Ex cause all the dumb shit they have been doing. Im not even anywhere close to a UPS store but Im going to use them now.

UPS is absolute shit. I used to watch them pick up the computers from a repair shop next to my old office every day, they would toss the shit in the back of a moving truck. (and I do mean TOSS)
I will never, ever use UPS for anything important. Not once have I got a package via UPS that wasn't completely smashed up.
FedEx rocks. Well worth the extra money. You will be back when UPS fucks you over even worse.money talks and bullshit walks.Comment

I use UPS for ground delivery and Fed Ex for overnight. There's no real difference between the two except for price. Fed Ex is cheaper for overnight by the way.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

Yep, UPS is great. I really appreciated the elevated level of service this Xmas when they didn't even bother to deliver a package that arrived in town on the 22nd and then was rescheduled for delivery on the 27th - without ever attempting delivery (I was home all day). All I got was a lame email apology when I complained.Beat it. Nothing to see here.Comment

I know a guy who works for UPS who steals shit from them all the time and sells it. Like when big computer shipments goes out, he grabs one. I guess it's pretty common with some of the guys that work there.
Don't know about FedEx, but i use them over UPS.
I am sure if he worked at FedEx he'd try the same shit, so who knows.Comment

My friend is a sorter at UPS he tells me that you should not ship fragile items with UPS. He said they sing the Song, " let the boxes hit the floor." Doesn't sound to comforting. I ship with dhl now , which is going well for me.

UPS sucks.
First off when you head to that UPS store you'll be paying about 50% more because they're all owned by franchisees so they jack up the price.
Second when you ship something UPS ground and they say 5 business days it absolutely will not show up on day 3 or 4 even if its sitting in the local wherehouse on Day 2. Why? Because if it did, nobody would use their 2 and 3 day service. I used to know a vice president that worked there who let me in on that secret. Numerous times with FedEx however I have selected the 2 day option and had it delivered over night.
Third, when i think UPS I think about the opening scene in Ace Ventura.

Fuck fedex, I ordered something and they sent it to the local hospital shipping/receiving. Then I call them and they tell me to go get it, after jumping through hoops getting nowhere I told them fuck you, you get it. Never use fedex again or at least consciously try not to. And in the end they made it seem like my fault but couldn't provide me with an explanation.Comment

Fed Ex told me there are a lot of packages during christmas time. NO SHIT BUT THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE. I had one day shipping. Two days later they had still not put the package on the van althought the package was right by my house. I can not believe that was the best excuse the could have.
UPS was given same amount of time and no problems. To add insult to injury I called them on the first day and they said no worries will be delieverd the next. I call them the next day and they say yeah there is no chance that they can do it.
