    Speeding Tick LOST - I Love It!!

    Get pulled over ... and noone would believe me if I told them the whole story but let's leave it at I was VERY happy to walk away with a No Insurance ticket (just didn't have my card) and a speeding ticket for 14 over ..

    I went to Court yesterday and they pulled the docket... called me up ... asked me what I wanted to do, showed them proof of insurance, they dismissed it. Asked them what about my other ticket... they said, "We only have you down for one ticket sir"

    Both were NTA - So they lost my speeding Ticket

    KNOCK ON WOOD - But I have been getting lucky lately with the Cops.. Real Lucky

                  14 over is nothing. You dont even lose points for that.

                  Fine for 14 is what, $30?

                  I got popped for going 154KM/hr in a 100km/hr zone..wanna guess what the fine was? $6xx + 4 points...thank god i dont keep my car under my name ;)

                      I'm in the U.S. completely different system... I wasn't worried abot going to jail for it lol ... But it would of raise insurance rates about $250 per year for the next 3 years plus ticket would of been $90 .. So all in all, it would of cost me $850 or so ...

                      I've gottent tickets for going 40 over before ... to the best of my knowledge a spedding ticket is a speeding ticket in an insurance company's eyes.

                          Trust me.

                          There is a huge difference in the eyes of insurance companies for people who go 14 over and those who go 54 over ;)

                          Had insurance been under my name chances are my policy would have been cancelled.

                              A few years ago i got pulled over and couldnt find my insurance card, its a 1k fine here in Ca, but the patrol guy was nice enough to actually follow me home (in his own car) so I could dig for the card in my place. It was messy as hell so i dont know how i ever foind it but somehow I managed. That was cool cause I didn't have to deal with the hassle of going to court.

                                  Wow, small town phogirl ? I have got about 10 no insurance tickets in the last 11 years I have been driving. Every single one of them ahs been dismissed. Cops around here get off on writing tickets so I think they figure you can't find it ... you are helping them make their monthly quota
