    An Orange Mercedes?!?!

    WTF?!?!

    Came across these pics, it's the "interim" test car that McLaren will only use for a few pre-season tests for the 2006 Formula-1 season. They built two complete cars (at around $12M each) to test with and thrash for less than a month, and then they're to to scrap them for the real final race cars when the "real" racing season starts. Formula-1, NOT for the faint of heart or wallet!

      That's actually 1 of the 50 mechanics bays at the McLaren headquarters in Woking, Surrey, England. The price tag on that facility cost 200 Million British Pounds back in 2001. Houses 1,000 employees, and includes it's own man-made lake. Not your average "grease-monkeys".
