and if its only making 1k$ a month you arent going to get 13k you will get 3-4 months revenue at most. thats the general rule. so i see 4k$ value at that. even if your site had 300 hits a day. all depends what kind of traffic if your site had 1k of se traffic a day. making 1k$ a month doesnt matter. but still. if its only making thousand a month you arent going to get a years revenue out of it.

As a quick comparison, this is a alexa for yours and one of my posting account domains. Costs me $39.95 a month to get half of the traffic you get, but my revenue is about $3000/month on average for this. If someone offeded be $8k like you said you have, it would be long gone. Even the $1500 would be worth it, since the name has no intrinsic value.
