    Do uglier galleries convert better?

    I've noticed in the last couple of months that using the same content, uglier and simpler galleries are getting more sales while sophisticated ones aren't converting at all... Is this true for you too?

      I really think it depands on the tour, the traffic and the content of the gallery. But I do believe simpler galls do better.. and no bullshit pop ups

              here's a question...by the same token, do paysites convert better when they are ugly or slick looking?

                                                                  You don't need extra gallery design, but what is important is content quality (pics should be teasing enough) and creativity when making textlinks. Also ... texlinks should be visible enough for surfer to get his attention

                                                                                  ya, a tgp gallery should be a sample of the paysite content and some well worded text links.... the time wasted on fancy designs is better spent reading all the GFY drama... ;)

                                                                                      Layout is nothing..

                                                                                      Content is god..

                                                                                      I always laugh at those guys who think that doing 1 dif layout a day will get them mroe sales.. and they are using the same overused boring content everyonw else is using.

                                                                                              If the surfer likes your gallery you are doing it wrong, he should not even look at it. It's about the content grabbing his attention, the text telling him what he needs to know and the links showing him where to go.
