Who been to ROME? Need hotel recomendation

going to Rome after webmaster access - never been there before.

can anyone recomend a good hotel. i like 4 stars or better.

only got 2 days there so need something close to things like the Colosseum and any other major attractions that are a must see

how the fuck did someone as fucking STUPID as you travel? stuck in the landing gear of a 747 for 2 years before someone cut you out?

I was there a few years ago, stayed at a hotel right down the road from the Colisseum. It was a 4 star, but 4 star hotels in Rome aren't the same as the ones in North America, unless its a Hilton or a Westin. Though I did also stay at the Hilton at the airport and it was great.

The Majestic is a pretty good one. it was a location for the movie "La Dolce Vita".

The Baglioni is located at the Via Veneto.

If you prefer an old palace, you should have a look at the Sofitel.

Those Hotels aren´t comparable to the new Hotels, but they have a special flair. That doesn´t mean they are not competetive, but they are different.
